My Personal Mission:

The game of hockey is exactly what it says -- a game! Games are meant to be played and are meant to be fun. I am a big advocate of fun. I believe the more fun a student is having the more that student is learning, and in turn, retaining. I've been to most of the camps out there throughout my career, either instructing or attending the camp myself as a young player. I feel I have a good grasp of what works and what doesn't work when it comes to a student learning the skills needed to compete as well as have fun. My style of teaching is that of positive reinforcement. I have fun and motivating tactics that focus on the individual player and his or her needs. I am a firm believer in teaching kids on a personal level, I make sure my instructors and I know each and every camper's name. The New England Edge will gear its program to the type of skills that kids need to learn, as well as skills kids want to learn. My main instructors will be professionals, like myself, who are currently in the game. We can teach your kids how the game is played right now, what works, and what doesn't! Along with years of experience my staff and I bring youth and excitement to these camps. Children have dreams and aspirations to become professional athletes just as I did, that is why I believe you can do anything you put your mind to and this is one of the many lessons I would like to pass on to your kids.
